American chipmaker Nvidia and Reliance Industries, India’s largest company by market cap, will together build a foundational large language model (LLM) — an artificial intelligence algorithm —that will be trained on an array of diverse Indic languages used by the country’s 1.4 billion people, chief executive Jensen Huang announced on Friday.
