SYLMAR, Calif. — Since she was little, Miquelle Milavec was fascinated by the wonders of space exploration.
Milavec’s dream of going to space didn’t happen, but she now runs Spectrolab — a subsidiary of Boeing — that manufactures solar energy generating cells.
Spectrolab’s current mission: upgrade and enhance the International Space Station’s solar energy supply with its unique design of solar cells.
