High Tech In Lincroft Ranked No. 1 Best High School In NJ – Middletown, NJ Patch

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — High Technology High School was just ranked as the number-one best public school in the state of New Jersey, according to the latest ranking from U.S. News & World Report.
They also said High Tech is the 24th best overall public high school in the United States.

This should not come as a great surprise, as High Tech — located in the Lincroft section of Middletown — perennially comes out at the top of the list in annual New Jersey school rankings.
High Technology High School is part of the Monmouth County vocational school district. Students have to apply to go to High Tech. Once accepted, the students take an engineering-centric curriculum, with courses in civil engineering and architecture, computer-integrated manufacturing and digital electronics.
Students at High Tech can earn college credits through partnerships with Rochester Institute of Technology, Georgian Court University and Brookdale Community College.

U.S. News & World Report scored nearly 25,000 public high schools on a scale of 0-100 across several categories. High Technology High School earned a score of 99.86 out of 100 and tied for first place both nationally and statewide in graduation rates and college-readiness categories.
